Lindsay Lohan Says No To Playboy Offer

Actress Previously Recreated Monroe Spread For New York Magazine

UPDATED: 1:41 pm CDT September 5, 2008

Lindsay Lohan, who recreated Marilyn Monroe's topless photo spread earlier this year, has nixed a similar offer from Playboy, according to the New York Post.

Lohan representative confirmed for the Post that Lohan turned down a $700,000 offer from magazine to pose for an eight-page topless spread for Playboy's 55th anniversary issue in January.

"If there's nudity, then the answer's no ... she's not going down the (New York) magazine road again," Lohan's representative told the Post.

In February, Lohan posed nude for photographer Bert Stern in a re-creation of one of Monroe's most famous photo shoots done shortly before she died. The shoot came to be known as "The Last Sitting."

Playboy creative consultant told the Post that he hoped to get Lohan to do a tribute to '60s vixen Ann-Margaret and her film "Kitten With a Whip."
