MILWAUKEE -- Gasoline prices have plummeted to $1.99 at some stations but analysts said that grocery store prices aren’t likely to follow quickly.When gas prices started rising, the trickle-down effect quickly spread to grocery stores and restaurants.Experts said that if gas prices continue to stay at or below the $2 mark, consumers could see some relief at the grocery store.
However, many people told WISN that they aren’t banking on the low gas prices sticking around long.
