Pewaukee Lake Beach Reopened

Algae Levels Lower After Testing

Two months after devastating flooding the public beach at Pewaukee Lake is back open.

The beach was under water in June, as floodwater poured into the streets of Pewaukee.

Then it was closed after high levels of dangerous blue-green algae were found in the water.

New testing shows the algae level has dropped.
