Racine Beaches End Mostly Clean Season

RACINE, Wis. -- The Racine Health Department said the city's Lake Michigan beaches had the fewest health advisories in a decade this summer.The department says monitoring from June 7 to Sept. 2 resulted in one quality advisory at North Beach and three at Zoo Beach.Neither beach had to be closed.
Last summer, North Beach had three water quality advisories and Zoo Beach had seven.
