MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police have arrested two 16-year-old boys in the Wednesday morning shooting of three other teenagersThree people suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the shooting near 95th Street and Brown Deer Road..

Suspects Arrested In Triple ShootingThe primary suspect was arrested at about 3:30 p.m. in the area of North 35th and West Vliet streets. The other teenager was arrested earlier in the day.Detectives also are questioning the mother of one of the 16-year-old suspects about whether she supplied the gun that was used in the shooting, to her son.Milwaukee police chief Ed Flynn said the shooting stemmed from an altercation Tuesday night at a nearby playground.Flynn said that earlier Wednesday morning, one victim was walking his girlfriend to a bus stop and ran into people involved in the altercation on Tuesday. He left the scene and returned in a car with his brother to continue confrontation.Then, that victim got additional family members and a "melee" ensued, Flynn said.Flynn said that is when the mother of one of the suspectst went and retrieved a bag with semi-automatic handgun and gave it to her sonPolice said the suspect fired one round of shots into the air. The victims jumped into the car and fled. Several more shots were fired at the car, wounding the three victims. The victims are two males, ages 15 and 17 and a 14-year-old girl.Flynn said they would find the 16-year-old suspect by the time the day was over.
