Harley Workers Put Out Fire On Roof At Wauwatosa Plant
No Evacuations Needed

WAUWATOSA, Wis. -- A team of workers at the Harley-Davidson plant at 117th Street and Capitol Drive put out a fire in a ventilation fan on the roof Monday morning, according to Harley-Davidson spokeswoman Rebecca Bortner.The plant is located off of Highway 45 in Wauwatosa.Workers called 911, but by the time the Wauwatosa Fire Department arrived, the workers had extinguished the flames, Bortner said.
No workers were evacuated from the job site.
